Rabbi Marsha kane

Hi, I’m Rabbi Marsha Jane and I’m a liberal, modern, unaffiliated Rabbi who serves the Jewish and interfaith communities.

I delight in creating weddings that fit your needs and wishes. Each ceremony is personalized and unique for each and every couple. Together with my brides and grooms we create an intimate and meaningful wedding ceremony that celebrates the love you share.

I do Jewish ceremonies; interfaith ceremonies; Jewish/Christian ceremonies; Jewish/Hindu ceremonies; and civil

Whether you need a Rabbi to co-officiate with a Minister; a Reverend; a Priest; or a friend or family member, you will have the wedding you want. I’m also happy to collaborate and create a beautiful ceremony that includes other clergy and that you will love and remember for years to come.

I officiate weddings for people who love each other and want to make a lifetime commitment. I believe strongly in marriage equality and welcome the LGBTQ+ community. I invite same-sex couples; gay couples, lesbian couples and non-binary couples to have the wedding of their dreams. I come to each wedding bringing love and joy!

I serve the New Jersey, New York, Long Island and Philadelphia communities and am also able to travel for destination weddings.

I’m uniquely qualified to help you create the event that best reflects you and your faith traditions.

Other than officiating at weddings, the next most wonderful event is the naming of your baby. I will create a ceremony that will be meaningful to celebrate this momentous event in your lives.

If you need a Rabbi for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah for your son, daughter, granddaughter or grandson, I would be honored to celebrate this rite of passage with you and your family. Your child will become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah and you’ll have a lifetime of memories to cherish.

I bring warmth and sensitivity to create the service that best meets your needs for any of your life cycle events: weddings; vow renewals; baby naming; Bar and Bat Mitzvahs; and funerals.

I look forward to working with you to create the event of a lifetime!
