This is 2020 folks and it’s a different time!
This season I have officiated at weddings on the beach (wind almost took chuppa away!); in backyards of rental houses; on a beautiful property with horses and other animals and the rental fee goes to support a not for profit; in a cornfield in Maryland; outside at wedding venues and even one in my backyard! It’s been fun. Also very relaxed and intimate.
Every wedding has had a virtual component – and there are so many creative ways couples have found ways to move on with their lives. We say hi to everyone on “zoom” – the “zoomies” – include everyone who needs to be included; and if we can stay far enough apart, we can all take off our masks so you will not be incognito in your photos.
The weather is changing but you can still get married virtually – outside – on zoom – you choose!
Love should not have to wait!
I married a couple last night – they were scheduled to get married at a venue in Northwest NJ; then it got changed to the grooms’ parents back yard in Long Island; then it was moved to Hawaii; then Arizona where the couples lives; and then ultimately it happened in Pennsylvania. They rented an air b’n’b and the property was amazing. It was spectacular in every way. So sometimes changed plans lead to fabulous.
Let’s do this. – Zoom, Virtual, Webex, Skype, whatever – You WILL have your special day!
