Rabbi Marsha Jane received an amazing letter of thanks

It is still a wonderful wedding season – Rabbi Marsha Jane here officiating Jewish and interfaith weddings –
The Fall is a wonderful season for weddings.  Last weekend I officiated the wedding of a beautiful interfaith couple.  They are so special.  Here is the letter that the bride sent me from her honeymoon:

Dear Rabbi Marsha,

We truly can’t begin to express how deeply grateful we are for you. You have completely redefined what a wedding ceremony can be — meaningful, joyful, and so full of heart. From the ketubah signing you captured everyone’s hearts just as Mike and I knew you would. Our friends and family were in awe of how beautiful and touching it all was — they haven’t stopped talking about it since, still laughing, reminiscing, and still tearing up with joy. Those moments were, without a doubt, my favorite part of the entire day. To be surrounded by the people we love most, sharing such sacred, love-filled moments together, was something I’ll cherish forever.

The wedding ceremony itself was truly beyond our wildest dreams. You had every single guest completely captivated, and Mike and I couldn’t stop smiling. Hearing everyone laugh, seeing their joy reflected back at us was everything we hoped for and more. To us, that’s what life is about: being surrounded by love, laughter, and connection.

The way you personalized the ceremony for us was nothing short of extraordinary. You blended our heritages so beautifully, combining together something that felt uniquely ours while including everyone in the room. So many people have told us it was the most beautiful ceremony they’ve ever witnessed, and we wholeheartedly agree.

We are endlessly grateful for both of you and feel so incredibly blessed that you were part of the most important day of our lives. And more than that, we’re excited to have you in our lives for all the moments still to come.

We will be sure to share the video and full album when we receive it in a few weeks.
With much love and gratitude,
Bride and Groom
It is so wonderfully rewarding to be able to make a personalized and meaningful ceremony for a couple for their wedding.
In addition to weddings, Rabbi Marsha Jane is also busy talking to families as they prepare to bury a beloved family member.  This is also a special time and an honor for Rabbi Marsha Jane to prepare a ceremony and eulogy that helps family members process the loss and grief they experience, incorporating Jewish customs and writing a hesped – a eulogy, that captures their memories of their beloved family member.
These are all part of the jobs of  independent Rabbi Marsha Jane – Weddings; funerals; and the wonderful joy of welcoming a baby into the Jewish community by creating a service and giving the child a Jewish name.
Rabbi Marsha Jane looks forward to another beautiful couple getting married this coming weekend.
Rabbi Marsha Jane feels each wedding as an honor:  to be able to make each wedding ceremony unique – incorporating  Jewish elements but personalized to reflect the particular couple.  Last weeke’s Chuppah had the bride’s father’s tallit on top of the chuppah and also the groom’s sister’s veil.  So special and unique to them.
Off to get ready for another wedding. Rabbi Marsha Jane is off  to prepare for another local wedding but also for a destination wedding out of the country .
And tonight Rabbi Jane will be talking to two beautiful men who are finally, after many years, getting married.  Such a joy!  Rabbi Marsha Jane officiates Jewish; interfaith; both non Jewish; and welcomes all couples in love – she is LGBTQ+ welcome!!!
Best,
Rabbi Marsha JAne
