Weddings and Honeymoons!

Good morning –

Rabbi Marsha Jane so loves her couples – she officiated for a very sweet and loving couple – and they had so much fun on face time preparing for the wedding.  Rabbi Marsha Jane spends hours and hours talking to her couples before the actual wedding day.

This bride and groom sent her the following note following their wedding:

Dear Rabbi Marsha:  Thank you so much for everything. Your guidance and               support throughout the hole process was greatly appreciated.  We are sure we were not maybe your most conventional or traditional couple, but we are so grateful of how you met us and created the perfect ceremony that felt meaningful to us. We can’t thank you enough and hope to not be strangers!!!

Rabbi Marsha Jane feels incredibly lucky to have the honor of marrying all couples – traditional; non traditional; interfaith; interracial; LGBTQ couples – all with love and respect and joy!  We are all so lucky when we find love wherever we find it!!!

Rabbi Marsha Jane also officiates funerals and celebration of life services.  It is always an honor for Rabbi Marsha Jane to get to know the passed family member and to help families to honor, grieve, and remember their beloved families.  Here are the beautiful comments Rabbi Marsha Jane received after officiating a graveside service for her parents:

Rabbi Marsha Jane spends time on the phone with family members in order to get information about the deceased.  The eulogy needs to connect with who they were for their family.  The goal of the service is to create meaning; provide closure; and most important, give the living a chance to

Rabbi Marsha Jane transformed my parent’s graveside service into something special. She conducted the service with the utmost professionalism, grace, and caring. It ran smoothly and also had us be a part of the ceremony. As she talked about my parent’s lives, I felt she really understood the kind of people they were. Although it was still a sad event, she instantly put us all at ease, and we came away feeling that we’d given my parents the kind of sendoff we had hoped for, and the closure we needed. It was an honor to have her conduct the service. Everyone that attended commented on how wonderful it was. I highly recommend Rabbi Marsha for any event you may have. You will be glad you did.

Rabbi Marsha Jane conducted a baby naming ceremony for a beautiful three year old boy at his grandmother’s home last weekend  And what an amazing cook his grandma is!!  It was so special with his grandparents on both sides and of different faiths preparing comments to talk all about what both his English and Hebrew names meant to their families.  What a special event for Rabbi Marsha Jane.
