Rabbi for Funeral and Mourning
We all face difficult moments in our lives. The loss of a loved one presents us with perhaps life’s most difficult challenge. Our tradition offers meaningful support and comfort during this difficult time. Whether you’re looking for a Rabbi to conduct a memorial service and funeral and/or would like a Rabbi to lead a service in your home for the period of shiva immediately following the death and burial, I’m available to meet these needs.
I am available for Jewish and interfaith families to conduct a funeral or a memorial service for a loved one. I will work make the service personal and meaningful for you and your family. It is my goal to offer comfort and support during this difficult time.
VISITING THE SICK
“May the One who was a source of blessing for our ancestors, bring blessings of healing upon your loved one, a healing of body and a healing of spirit. May those in whose care they are entrusted, be gifted with wisdom and skill, and those who surround them, be gifted with love and trust, openness and support in their care. And may they be healed along with all those who are in need. Blessed are You, Source of healing. Amen.”
One of the most important jobs of a Rabbi is to bring comfort to those who are in ill health.
Please let me know if you would like me to visit you or a family member. It would be an honor to visit—to talk, to laugh, to sing, to hold their hand—to be there for whatever it is they need and want. A certified therapy pet is available to make the visit should you wish.
